Signs of Going Into Labor | Learn the True Signs of labor

You may start experiencing signs of going into labor on the 9 month of your pregnancy stage. Or between the 38 and 42 weeks of your pregnancy...

This will be the signs that your body will make to prepare the deliverance of the baby.

Here are a few to signs to see whether it is false labor or not?

Mucus plug ... The appearance of bloody show (most call it) it is a brownish or blood-tinged mucus discharge from your cervix.

Making more trips to the bathroom than before... This is becuase the baby will be in a born position and that will increase pressure on your bladder.

Contractions ... Many sorts of contraction may occur when you are pregnant and near birth. To know that these are birth signs you need to look out for contractions that are; do not stop or slow down, they contract every every 5-10 minutes throughout, they are increasingly closer together.

Vaginal Discharge ... You may notice an increase in your vaginal discharge

A sudden burst of energy ... Most pregnant women have the edge of cleaning the house, washing and just keeping busy even if there is not much to be done.

When your water breaks

There are many ways to tell whether your water broke as a sign of labor. Other pregnant women gave us a few indicators of what might happen or look like your water has broken and you are ready to deliver the baby. like;

When your water breaks, you will have no control over it. It happens naturally and instantly. Yes you can say you have urinated yourself but its more than that, because when you urinate yourself, you feel it in your bladder.

Again when your water breaks, it may not smell like urine. Okay we all know the smell of that. But this is different and you will find that your panty liner is not able to absorb this.

Other signs of labor you might experience are ...

  • Possible queasy or mild flu-like symptoms

  • Contractions become stronger

  • Increased Braxton-Hicks contractions

  • Decreased activity of baby

  • Shivering or trembling in early labour
